THE COMPANY: Welcome to the world of Ker Expert Services. Ker Expert Services is a service company with specializations on Research, Publishing, Training and Consultancy. We commenced business in October 2003 with the primary goal of providing services in our areas of proficiency with professionalism and expertise. We are driven to achieve high standard performance by our business philosophy that only experts are above mistakes. We are located at No. 39/41 Immaculate Heart Avenue Umungasi Aba Abia State, Nigeria. Aba is reputed as the city with the highest concentration of small scale industries in West Africa, yet business prospects in printing and publishing are still under developed and under harnessed. While research and research consultancy are at very low ebbs in the city and its environs. With only a few outfits that have chord printing machines in the entire state, thousands of printers and publishers besiege them for patronage with the consequence that jobs are done lackadaisically and are not often delivered in good time. People are therefore compelled to travel to Lagos, which is about eight(8) hours journey to do their printing works. Publishers are the worst hit by this phenomenon which makes it near impossible for them to meet the expertise and professionalism required to give modern book work the appropriate finishing. Ker Expert Services does printing and publishing works through Ker Expert Books, her subsidiary company. Through Ker Experts Books we partner with the Rotary Club of Umungasi Aba to publish books which are given to indigent students as charity as our modest contribution to the fight against educational backwardness among the underprivileged in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

OUR OBJECTIVE::Our objective is to remove the lacuna created by under harnessed research consultancy and printing potentials and bridge the gap between the reading aspirations of the people and availability of quality books in Nigeria within the shortest possible time staring from the Aba academic community.

OUR STRENGTH::Our strength is in knowledge. The managing Director of Ker Expert Services has been proactively involved in teaching research methodology, small business management and entrepreneurship development in a tertiary institution in Abia State, and has brought his knowledge and experiences to bear on creating a unique company set to address the problems of research constancy and publishing in Eastern Nigeria once for all. Therefore with God Almighty and highly skilled and dedicated support staff the Ker team is ready for any challenge.

Our Strategy

OUR STRATEGY::We quite appreciate the facts that research and publishing could be capital intensive ventures and that users of research information including students who use published texts are quite enormous. This makes the task of, for example, making books available to students in a country of about 150 million people more than ordinary up hill task. Our strategy therefore is to work in collaboration with interested organizations and individuals. In particular Ker Expert Services partners with Rotary International District 9140 Nigeria, to produce and distribute books as charity to indigent students, especially house helps, in Nigerian secondary schools, whom it is known that their academic performances would improve if they had books to read. This project has received the support of good spirited individuals, companies and financial institutions.

Our Expectations

OUR EXPECTATIONS::The main reason for Ker Expert Services to come on the net is to let the wider community know about us and our activities in the hope that our service delivery capacity would be enhanced and our position in our operational area would be fortified and consolidated. It is also hoped that original equipment manufactures in our industry can spot us out for co-operation in terms of providing outlets for printing and publishing equipment, and that organizations in the same industry can partner with us in our goal to fill the information gap in our operational area by donating books, including used ones, and also educational materials like computers to the target audience through us. We expect also that the net would expose us to people who may wish to conduct researches about issues in Nigeria or Africa, or who would need technical partners to supervise on going research as consultants.
